DOB Challenge Update

Here is the response from DOB to Chuck Weinstock, lawyer for WVCP.

DOB’s response does not meaningfully answer the basic premise of WVCP’s challenge: whether the open space claimed for 100 Barrow was ever truly accessible, usable, and legally available.

Instead, DOB relied on a City of Yes zoning argument that appears to sidestep that core issue. WVCP will appeal to DOB’s Technical Affairs Unit within the required 14-day timeframe, and Technical Affairs will then review the matter and issue its own determination.

This appeal is separate from WVCP’s BSA appeal. Now that DOB has stated its current position, we have a clearer path for challenging that reasoning at the next level. We are still short $6000 for the BSA appeal process. Please help here.
